Here is an early oil pressure relief valve for a vintage/classic AJS mocel 20 or Matchless G9 500cc twin. This has been in my parts box for nearly 60 years - came off a 1951 model.

Missing ball and spring.

Threads are in good condition.

Head of the access screw is damaged, but this could be cleaned up in a lathe.

Hate to throw stuff away - where would you get one now?
