Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II June 2nd 1953 – Southampton glass Tumbler in original Box.
This is a good example of a surprisingly heave / sturdy blue Glass Tumbler that was made to commemorate the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II in 1953. It measures almost 5” high and almost 3” diameter at the top rim. On the back are the words Presented by The Town of Southampton – and also the emblem of the town. -The glass has been kept in what I think is almost certainly the original box, as it is a perfect fit. This is in decent condition. It has one split corner, and some minor discolouration.
