Stunning and very heavy double open salt cellar with Italian sterling hallmarks as shown.  May research indicates the impressed mark in one basin- Hallmark 925 for silver purity and  Hallmark (star)  215 FI attributes this fancy piece to the silversmith "Fabbrica Argenteria Fiorentina di Bartolini Bartolozzi & CSAS. " of Florence. The works has been closed for years. This example is fresh to the market and was formerly a family heirloom from a past relative whom traveled abroad primarily after WW2. It is very heavy as shown and incredibly detailed in high relief. Weighs over 227 grams without the cobalt liners and is very heavy and sturdy. I did not polish it as it was in a velvet lined box in storage under a  china cabinet/hutch and generally nicely toned from age. Please ask questions in advance. The cobalt liners appear original and vary a bit in thickness and weight. I did not find the tiny salt spoons that one would use with these. Shipping includes tracking and insurance in the USA.
