Amazing VINTAGE sterling silver Zuni squash blossom necklace with clusters of small petitpoint shaped blue NATURAL turquoise stones. This attractive necklace has a central naja and 6 unusual shaped blossom pendants on each side that are tipped with 3-petaled end flutes. Applied accents include silver wire, unusual flat raindrops with stamped designs, and domed sheet silver designs arranged in rows on the naja. The blossom pendants are tipped with 3-petaled end flutes. The necklace is strung on foxtail wire with handmade globular approximately 7 mm diameter silver beads and is completed with silver hook and eye clasps.

Excellent quality and condition. This is one of the best old Zuni cluster squashes that I have ever owned. Unsigned, as is typical of jewelry of this era – ca. 1960’s. This collector’s item was obviously made by one of the earlier Zuni lapidarists before it was common to hallmark their jewelry. Very reasonable starting price for this incredible necklace.
