Rare Early Meiji Japanese Cloisonne Charger decorated with a fighting birds in flight, the charger plate features a Birds of Prey and Flower Motif. 

This was made just in the early Meiji time frame,
For reference Japan's Meiji Period  lasted from January 25, 1868 – July 30, 1912

Item Features: 
Birds of Prey and Flowers Motif
An array of foliage over a blue ground with floral motif.
Top Right of charger features a Birds Fighting in flight on around flowers.
Backside/rear of the piece has a abstract cloud or "swirl" motif.

Item is in fair condition; there is a normal wear given it's age, including oxidation, and scratches; some areas of crazing and enamel flaking & cracks are present. Please note: there's a of spots enamel loss/where repairs were made to fill in those areas. Backside has some surface debris and oxidation along with repairs. Overall this is a great display, please see pictures for details, item is sold as is.
