This is a vintage, 1st Edition (Limited Edition of 500) book from 2014 by Neill Archer Roan. It is an illustrated monograph, showing Roan's collection of Blue Riband Comoy's Pipes. These are all pre-1980 pipes. They are beautifully photographed in color, with extreme close-ups.

The Blue Riband line from Comoy's is one of the marque's most sought-after series by collectors. A Comoy's catalog from just after WWII stated, "Of every thousand pipe bowls that are made in the Comoy's workshops, forty or perhaps fifty will be picked out worthy to bear the Comoy name." It continues, saying that of these forty or fifty, only three or four will qualify for the Blue Riband name. (from Publishers)
