Thomas Edison and Henry Ford had a special friendship, which they extended to building adjacent Winter Estates in Ft. Myers, Florida.  This ornament depicts Thomas Edison's Winter Estate "Seminole Lodge" built in 1885.  It is a remarkable 3 dimensional replica from every angle, and includes a wonderful surprise when the hinged roof is opened to reveal a hidden tiny phonograph, one of Thomas Edison's famous inventions.  The phonograph is free standing and can be removed to view its great detail (see picture). This 4" by 2" ornament can be displayed on its own or also hung from a Christmas tree with the Gold attached cord.
