Only with partworks with the original 88° angle offset

Description:
The intermediate shift levers connect the transmission input shafts to the shift linkage. The lever is redirected by this plastic bearing and is knocked out in almost Allen vehicles. This results in excessive play in the shift linkage on the Porsche 924, 944 and 968. You can use this to eliminate the wobbly feeling of the worn gear lever.

The bearing fits Allen Porsche four-cylinder transaxles, whether 924S or 944S2/turbo.

Contrary to previous alternatives, this polyoxymethylene plastic bearing has exactly the original geometry. This is the only way to eliminate the switching play without affecting the smooth movement of the lever. Barely visible to the naked eye, there is an angle of 88° between the two holes. This means that the plastic bearing compensates for its slightly off-center position next to the gearbox and the large hole runs exactly towards the gearshift lever. However, this makes production significantly more complex.

We have now re-released the plain bearing in a small series and will provide you with the necessary fastening material.

for For assembly it is sufficient to jack up the rear of the vehicle slightly and remove the left rear wheel.
Together with a new shift lever (item number #3127 in the web shop), you can completely eliminate the play in the shift linkage and have a sporty, direct feeling in the shift lever again.
