Here is a MTH 80-3138-1 2-8-2 USRA New York Central Light Mikado Steam Engine. M.T.H. Electric Trains is pleased to announce that the fifth steam locomotive in the company HO product line will be a USRA Mikado steam locomotive. Faithfully recreated in all-metal die-cast construction, the locomotive will initially be produced in two versions in a total of four road names. Each road name will be offered in three cab numbers. M.T.H. HO locomotives feature the firm most sophisticated version of its highly acclaimed Proto-Sound digital sound and command control onboard electronics. The Proto-Sound 3.0 system found in M.T.H. HO locomotives includes features not found in other firm's sound systems and include a command control receiver that can operate with M.T.H. DCS Digital Command System or any manufacturer DCC system. Unlike other HO sound-equipped locomotives currently on the market, M.T.H. steam locomotives include synchronized puffing smoke timed to drive wheel revolutions for an incredibly realistic operating experience. First appearing in M.T.H. O Gauge locomotives in 2000, each M.T.H. HO steam locomotive features a prototypically correct four chuffs/puffs per each drive wheel revolution. M.T.H.'s steam and diesel locomotives are completely compatible with most 16 volt or higher analog DC power supplies. Under analog operation, the user retains direction control, synchronized puffing smoke and digital chuffing (synchronized to driver revolution and smoke puffing) on steam engines, diesel engine roar and squeaking brakes and speed control on both diesel and steam models. squeaking brakes, authentic Doppler, passenger station announcements, air let-off, air pump, blow down, pop-off, injector and dozens more are included in each engine - a variety unmatched in HO today. In addition, every engine features 120 speed steps, each in scale one-mile-per-hour increments for a true prototypical operating experience. When operated in command mode using M.T.H. DCS Digital Command System (DCS), operators will have access to hundreds. Digital steam engine sound features including whistle.
This item has been graded per TCA standards C-8: Like New based on visual appearance. Introduced at the turn of the 20th century, the 2-8-2 was an innovator breaking from the traditional manufacturing of locomotives, and featuring a larger firebox paving the way for greater speeds at a higher rate of power! Before we knew it, the 2-8-2 also known as the "Mikado" found itself in rail yards around the world from the United States to the Congo hauling freight from stop to stop. The Mikado would undergo a temporary name change after the Pearl Harbor bombing in 1941 shortly going by the McArthur, before eventually going back to the Mikado name after WW2. Domestic Customers: If you and Trainz decide that the best recourse is to return the item for refund or repair we will send you a pre-paid return call tag at no cost (except for returns due to customer remorse). Make sure to include your contact and order information when you return your items. Once Trainz receives and inspects the items we will repair your item or issue a refund.
International Customers: Before selecting 'Return this item' through eBay, please consider contacting Trainz first by selecting 'Contact Seller' under 'More actions' and give us an opportunity to resolve your issue. Once you select 'Return this item', the action is final and you will be dealing directly with eBay from that point on. You will be required to ship the item to an eBay-designated return center.
