She also recorded as Maria Dell, and Maria Del Vecchio. As Jovan Dell, she recorded this one single for Bally Records in 1957. She was the wife of Nick Jovan (Nicholas James Jovan), a publicity man for a Chicago movie house and songwriter turned publisher and disk producer. Nick Jovan got his first taste of the business as writer of "City of Angels," a moderate hit on Bally and also owned two publishing companies, Bel-Aire Music and Bon Bon Music. Take a listen.
