Presented for auction is this superb Antique Solid Sterling Silver & Enamel Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes (RAOB) GLE Primo Masonic Jewel Sincerity Lodge No.4018, hallmarked for Birmingham 1924.
This superb vintage RAOB solid Silver & enamel jewel is from the Sincerity Lodge No.4018, the top gilt metal bar has "PRIMO" within blue enamelling and the bottom gilt metal bar is engraved "Sincerity Lodge No.4018", the suspended silver gilt jewel is enamelled in red, white and blue with "Justice Truth Philanthropy" and is engraved to the reverse "Presented To Bro. W. Austin By The Sincerity Lodge No.4018 Raised To 2nd Degree June 10th 1925". It is hallmarked with the Birmingham assay office Anchor, the Lion Passant denoting Solid Sterling Silver, the Date letter Z for 1924 and the Makers mark F&S, please see all the additional photos as they form part of the description.
Measuring 4 1/2" long top to bottom approx. It is in excellent used condition with no dents, dings, splits or repairs, just usual wear consistent with age/use and weighs all in 32.3grams by my electronic scales, which includes the bars and ribbon.
