This item has been tested:

* Both AM and FM radio work well and sound quality is exactly as expected from an almost 40 year old unit. I mean, it's not going to sound like a new Bose system, but the speakers do not sound busted.

* Antenna is fully intact and extends approximately 44 inches...that's really far for an antenna!!

* Clock and alarm both work, but the buttons are sticky and it's a pain in the butt to get it set to the time you want. It took me about 10 minutes of figuring out how to make the sticky buttons do what I wanted them to do to get it set.

* 9-volt battery attachment works to keep the clock on when the unit is unplugged (battery not included)

* TV screen works and all of the side dials also seem to make a difference in the static picture. I do not have a way to test for a clear TV picture so I can not say what it will look like with a show, movie or video game on it.

* Appliance outlet on the side is untested...I simply forgot to test it.
