A handsome vintage, hard-sided suitcase.  It is rectangular in shape and quite sturdy.  The body is a dark brown, and it is edged with a lighter brown leather.  Three closures.  No key.  The handle is leather, but has been damaged, as shown.  If you are using this for display, you could glue the two pieces together, or simply tuck both pieces together, and no one would see any damage.

This piece does not have any brand name that I can tell.

Exterior:  Hard-sided.  I do not know what the body is made of, but it is sturdy. There is a wide leather edging i a mid-brown tone, and a much narrower edging in off-white.  Minor light scratches on the exterior and wear, as you would expect from a vintage piece.  The edging has been damaged in one area; there is a separation of the leather, and discoloration.  See the last two photos for close-ups; the photos are of the same area.  The metal has discolored over the years; it may (or may not) clean up.  As stated above, the handle has damage; I think it could be repaired, if you planned to actually carry it.

Interior:  The interior is in very good condition.  A lovely maroon with a number of pockets, as shown.  There is no divider.  I did not see any stains or rips.  No funky smell.

I did not make any attempt to clean this up, or to wash it, as I know that some collectors prefer things to actually look used.  The inside is in excellent condition, but the outside has some marks, as shown in the photos.  They may come off with a little attention.
