Here is the opportunity to own a rare vintage box for REPAIRED PENS ONLY FROM  W. H. SMITH & SON Ltd., WHOLESALE AND MANUFACTURING STATIONERY DEPT. BRIDGE HOUSE, LAMBETH S.E.1.

It also features an old style WHS logo and EMPTY PENS OF INK BEFORE DISPATCH.

It is structurally sound, and quite strong - and would also make a great display piece, but there are some minor ink marks on it, and someone has annotated the lid with Leads - so have obviously stored pencil leads in it at some stage - a very convenient sized box, which weighs about 30g.

The base also has Bletchley written on it.

It is thought that this item dates from the first half of the twentieth century.
