USED. A set of RST Gila T4 front suspension forks (Disc brake or v-brake compatible) in black/silver/white. The forks have preload adjustment dials on the top of both of the fork legs and move freely (See photos). The forks move freely up & down & rebound and feel like new. The stanchions have scratches, marks and some light surface rust on them (See photos). There is a small amount of surface rust on the star nut, the steerer(See photos). There are some chips, some oxidisation, some scratches on the paintwork & sticker damage (See photos) but it is all purely cosmetic & nothing to worry about (See photos). The seals are in good condition (See photos). The forks will be carefully wrapped before being posted.
I was tempted to touch up the paintwork but decided against it, as I wanted the forks to be as original as possible.
The forks were on a 26" wheel mountain bike. Steer length is 203mm.
As with any suspension forks I would recommend a service but they are ready to use.
The forks with be carefully wrapped with additional packaging and put into a box before being posted. The postage charge is due to the size and the weight of the forks and the charge for this by Royal Mail.
To minimise the impact on the environment, as a generalisation when we pack a lot of our items for delivery, we use packaging that has used previously to pack electric bicycles. We have an arrangement where we re-use their unwanted packaging and therefore minimises the impact they have on the environment and helps us to minimises the impact we have too. All re-used packaging is checked before use and is generally very high quality and expensive. On other occasions we re-use unwanted newspapers and or unwanted boxes from DIY suppliers. Please if possible try and reuse the packaging yourself. Thanks.
