Here we have a lovely vintage  Folk Art Sailing Ship Diorama / Shadow box. The diorama is of lovely small proportions and the can is to show the proportions but does not form part of the sale.  

This is a lovely example and it very nicely detailed ships model diorama which is mounted in an cabinet which has glass to all four sides and the front sides up to allow the ship to be viewed closely. 

The ships is named 'POGORIA'

The ship is very nicely detailed as can be seen from the close up photographs.

The approximate MAXIMUM dimensions: 17 1/2 inches / 44.5 cm long x 8 3/4 inches / 22 cm deep x 15 1/2 inches / 39.5 cm high

CONDITION: The diorama and case are in good vintage condition. As would be expected  there are minor knocks and marks and is has general wear commensurate with age. There are also knocks and marks to the case.
