The Chevrolet Corvair Greenbrier was designed to compete with the Volkswagen Transporter of the time and sharing many key attributes including a rear mounted, air cooled engine as well as a "cab over" design which sat the driver over the front wheels.

Using the Corvair name to match the other Chevrolet models using the same 2.4 litre air cooled, 6 cylinder engine the Greenbrier was launched in 1961 and was considered the more refined and usable choice over the VW. All you need to do is drive it to agree with that.

The 2.4 litre engine giving a great amount of power to keep up with modern day traffic, starting with ease hot or cold and runs very smoothly. On the road it pulls well trough all four gear with out any knocks or bangs and coming to a stop nice and straight with out any vibrations. this would make a great classic camper that would take you anywhere with a smile on your face.

Built in 1961 and sold new in Canada, it was then bought from a farm in Ontario in 2021 by its first British owner who brought it back to the UK and registered it with the DVLA and was given the registration 633XVT. Also qualifying for tax and MOT exemption as well as ULEZ free!

The interior of the van has been carpeted in the rear with a nice black carpet and to the front the bench seat has been removed and a pair of red leather individual period correct adjustable seats have been fitted making for a comfortable ride. The van could be used as is or as a blank canvas to turn into a classics camper van.

The exterior of the van is in a metallic orange paint with white section through the middle and looks very nice the body work its self is nice and solid there is a few parts were the metallic base is a bit thin and a small dent to the drives door but dose not detract from the van and gets attention where ever you go in it.
