It's by no accident that Selhor* are now remanufacturing this classic and beautiful timepiece - except the modern ‘vintage’ has a quartz movement.

This true vintage diver manual movement watch from around 1971 is in stunning condition.

It has a date calendar and the blue second hand indices are a fantastic contrast on the black dial.

The crystal is in great condition and there are no signs of dings to the casing. Watch diameter is 35mm, with crown it is 38mm.

As you'd expect from a Selhor watch of that era, it has an FE133-60 manual movement, complete with date function.

I have fitted a stainless steel strap from the same era, and it comes with the original nylon diving strap too.

Decision: Go for a quartz replica or purchase a genuine collectable diving watch, from a bygone age of craftsmanship.

*Selhor is no longer a French watch company - but is now a brand owned by a Swedish rebranding company, its watches manufactured and parts sourced from overseas.
