Not many authentic Hound dog pulls were made. Here is your chance to get a guaranteed original.
- These bin pulls have a chrome finish on them.
- My guess is that someone took some old pulls to a chrome shop and had them plated. (A dog lover?)
- The plating is heavy and looks professionally done
- There is some light rust in the crevices. I didn’t try to remove it because it gives some authentic age and contrast to them. You may try to remove the light rust if you like.
- These pulls were made by Reading Hardware Co. in 1897. The 3 1/2” pull was listed in the catalog that year.
- They are in great condition with no pits or damage. Just some good authentic aging and wear.
- A set of matching screws is included.
- Not many good original pulls were made in this pattern. Most are copies or fakes. Please note that there are many reproductions made, but I guarantee that this set is authentic.
- Each pull is 3 1/2" long and 1 1/2" tall and 1 1/4" deep.
- The holes are 3" on center.
