I brought back from South Africa a few mouthpieces and accessories plus a Selmer Mark VI Tenor. I renovated the tenor for the owner who gifted the accessories for my work on the overhaul and now is the time to pass one one of the mouthpieces.

The original owner played in New York in the 1950's with his own swing/jazz band. This was in the box along with the Mark VI from his son who donated the proceeds to his charity.

The reason for the above information is that some people like to know the history of a piece. It explains the R14.00 price written in red ink on the box. Knocked down from R18.00 (R being South African Rand of course)

I don't see any signs of previous alterations to the tip or table and only a few signs of wear to show that it had been played.

The cap has a slight taper and free from dings and dents, the ligature is also in good cosmetic condition and has not been damaged from drops or misuse.

I have my own set of Berg mouthpieces, so I've not played this one as its worth more to me to know its being used.
