a very rare liberty & co cymric silver spoon,the enamelled terminal in the typical knox design so loved by liberty and the enamels is in good order with no chips or flakes,of superb quality and would have been sold through the liberty & co store in londons regent street as part of their cymric range,there were several designers using this medium of design and decoration during this era,amongst those the most notable were,archibald knox,bernard cuzner,rex silver,jessie m king,murrle bennett,charles horner and james fenton.it would have been produced by haselers of birmingham,these were the only silversmith making for libertys and produced the cymric silver ware range plus the tudric pewter range,it is a very rare and desirable soon marked with the distinctive WHH mark for William Hair Haseler liberties sole Producer of silver and pewter for the Cymic & Tudric ranges, plus the assay office marks for birmingham date letter E and the measures are tad over 4.5'"'' long,so a stunning example of decorative domestic ware and as such may have some minor signs of age & use as befits a functional piece of domestic hardware, please feel free to ask any questions and i will reply within 24hours. postage is by special delivery in the u.k and airsure or signed for to international destinations.
