Official Genuine Nintendo DS Games will have an unique printed serial number on the reverse casing of the game cartridge which are made up of the 4 middle digits that appear on the bottom of the front cartridge sticker, this determines that the cartridge you are purchasing is an Official Genuine Nintendo DS Game and NOT a bootleg copy - Whilst some bootleg copy games look genuine the majority of them will NOT save game data therefore you could play for hours and think you have successfully saved the game only to find when you next attempt to load up the game you will receive numerous messages but the most common message will appear and state that your "Save Game Data is Corrupt"
