A beautiful and rare set of Eight (8) Vintage 1960's Mid-Century Modern IMPERIAL GLASS COMPANY "BAMBU ROCKS" (aka Bamboo) 16 oz Highball Drinking Glasses with 22k Gold Embossing.
The texture is incredible on these with a heavily raised 3-D texture; true Hollywood Regency style at its finest. The gold is the most vibrant, intense gold. These magical glasses were made by Imperial Glass Co. in the 1960s through the early 1970s and have real 22k gold in the paint, which gives them their intense vibrancy. The "bambu" pattern is stunning with a raised bamboo-like embossing from top to bottom.
Dimensions: 2.75" dia x 5.75" tall
Condition: Vintage, pre-owned. Excellent condition. No scratches or chips. Clean. While it may appear that the gold embossing has worn off in certain locations, it is visibly apparent that it is the same locations of embossing (and non-embossing) across all eight (8) glasses. It's not to say that there could be some loss with wear over time.
