I purchased these shoes new and wore them in the worst winter weather Denver could dole out in 1980. They withstand snow, water, ice, and were my go-to shoe for any kind of weather. The "Preppy" look was popular and these shoes were a mainstay. The soles show some minor wear, but overall the shoes look really good. The white soles hade some minor stains, but wearing any white sole shoe out you will get some staining pretty quick. I always wore these with socks so the insole leather is like new. I unlaced the shoes to show how new the leather lacing looks.
