Exquisite Hand Crafted Wrought Iron French Trammel

This Trammel is in a league of it's own and exudes pure Artisan quality. A one off piece and probably bespoke. (How can you replicate such an item). The Artisan must have spent hours crafting, heating, crafting and no doubt dripping.
As pictured each piece has been skillfully crafted. The top hanging ring has no joins, It's been forged into a seamless ring. The main body with it's Fleur De Lys design is stunning. It needs no explanation, the images say it all. Find another one!
CONDITION:- Really incredible considering just how old and how it was used. In full working order. Purchased some 15+ years ago in France for my then French home. Flaky material was carefully brushed away using a soft wire brush. It was then sprayed with a thin coat of lacquer to stop further corrosion. It's had a life and shows knocks, bumps and old corrosion, all evident in the photos. To get such a nicely patinated, rustic finish like this takes centuries . The French butchers hook used for hanging the Trammel is not included.
