This vintage Breton French stool is absolutely stunning and will go well with any home decor. Artisan made out of solid wood it features an amazing Breton Folk Art leaf effect design. The stool stands on three beautifully carved legs. It can be used as a stool, seat, footstool, small side table, plant stand etc. Really attractive and a great quality piece. The hand carved legs, which detach, have a solid wood thread which screw into solid wood threaded inserts. Very nice! Manufacturing year is hard to determine. Many Breton styles remained the same from the late 1800's through to the 1950's. I suspect this to be circa 1950. (Having lived in Brittany for 16 years)

CONDITION:- In good vintage condition. Artisan made, nice and solid with plenty of aged patina character. There's no worm, breaks or anything untoward. Please study the photo's carefully as they form a large part of the description.

For ease of shipping, damage limitation this Stool will be packed with the legs unscrewed. Being bespoke the legs do need to be screwed into the correct hole. All will be numbered.
