This is an original letter written to a Miss Carrie D. White from Ashland Kansas. It is written on paper from Farm Service Company Pratt, Kansas and dated May 17, 1921. Farm Service Company Specialized in Genco Light and Water Systems, Hardware and Farm Implements, and Rumely Oil Pull Tractors. This four-page letter is a bit more of a sentimental piece between Carrie and a gentleman named Edward, that may have worked there or owned the business at the time. It comes with the original envelope that it was sent in.

This letter has normal wear and a bit of discoloration due to age. It is currently in a plastic protective covering. There are creases from where it was folded to be placed in the envelope. There is a tiny tear on the edge of a couple pages as shown in the photo but no major damage. The envelope has a tear where it was opened on the right side. The words are still easy to read.
