You are bidding on an antique ETHIOPIAN sword with European blade marked S TERZIAN.  Engraved blade on both sides with script, some pitting. The handle is cattle horn. S TERZIAN is an Armenian dealer Sarkis Terzian (1868 - 1915), who was an Armenian trader who lived in Ethiopia in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. His work included the procurement of large quantities of arms from Europe for the forces of Emperor Menelik II.  The sword is 36 inches long from which the blade is 31.5 inches.  Have fun and bid high.
