The Tamron 11-18 f4.5-5.6 Di wide-angle lens for Nikon DSLR consists of 15 elements in 12 groups. Both auto and manual focusing. It is regarded as a super wide-angle zoom lens. When it was first introduced, it was seen as an entirely new optical system designed for optimal performance with digital SLR cameras.
It is a great lens for architectural interiors and for landscapes. It has the advantage of being a light lens, making day-long expeditions so much easier.
This lens is in unused condition, having lived in its original box since purchased around 2008. Its serial # is 018008. It has no issues that I can detect.
This listing includes the wide-angle lens, lens hood, excellent Tamron storage bag, and original box in mint condition. A sticker on the box shows that it cost $699 some 14 years ago.
