Description

Bert Lynch. vintage 1930s black and white silver nitrate matte photograph of a covered wagon in a forest, about 10 1/4 by 13 1/4 inches, mounted on a 16 by 20 inch cardboard mount, signed on the mount by Lynch, in excellent condition on a very good mount that has been chipped along the left side.   The photograph was taken as a movie still, most likely for an MGM western as Lynch worked for MGM for almost 30 years following a brief stay at Fox in the late 1920s and early 1930s.

Please see my other auctions for a photograph of the same covered wagon moving through a different part of the forest.
