This antique, circa 1920, clipless cap, hard rubber, no 52 size, working fountain pen, is a lever filler with a new sac. It is 135mm cap closed and 165mm cap posted in lengths. At 100+ years of age it does have patination and wear from this and use over time as shown in the close up pictures, which are part of the description. It has a shield on the cap of American significance, and the barrel is marked: Pat 1884, The Ideal logo, May 23 1909, Waterman's Fountain pen, Aug 3 1903, NY. USA. The Waterman's Ideal14ct gold nib performs well - medium. A nice example of a working antique fountain pen.
