These hinges would be great for renovating an old house needing old cast iron hinges.


  • The hinges were made in the 1800’s
  • They were made from heavy duty cast iron.
  • Stamped 3 1/2 on the back
  • These are in good condition with a little wear on the pins.
  • Nice and clean and ready for many years more use
  • There are no cracks in them
  • The casting is nicely textured like a set of cast hinges over 150 years should have
  • I stripped all the paint, wire brushed them and washed with water to prepare for paint 
  • They are clean cast iron. 
  • Buy them in this condition and paint your own favorite color.
  • They are 3 1/2" long at the pin
  • 2 1/4" wide laying open
  • 1/2” thick at the barrel when closed.
