I have Hand Crocheted this lovely Aran Weight Striped Afghan/Throw from Patons Wool Blend Aran in Grey Marl, Teal & Purple and I have used 14.5 x 100g balls.

The stitch used is called Arrowhead and gives this lovely textured finish which is closely crocheted so makes a good warm Afghan. It measures 52" x 50".

This took a lot of hard work and time to complete and was crocheted in one piece and then edged.

Patons Wool Blend Aran is a traditional, all-purpose wool that’s rich and hard wearing. The Wool Blend Aran range is machine washable at 30 degrees and it’s easy to take care of. 

Totally hand crafted by me in a smoke free home.
