Scottish silver sifter ladle by David McDonald with full hallmarks for Glasgow 1819.
 

Maker mark DMcD (David McDonald); Scottish lion silver mark; Glasgow assay office mark; date letter probably A for 1819; King George III portrait duty mark.  

 

Dimensions: approx 5¾ inches long.

 

Weight: 0.78 troy oz (24.1g).

 

Excellent condition.  There is a tarnish mark half way up the handle where the original joint was made.
