A rare and exquisite Gebruder Kuhnlenz German bisque doll, dating back to the late 19th and early 20th centuries, with mold number 44-27 Dep.

Standing at approximately 16 inches tall, the doll features blue stationary eyes and painted eyelids and eyebrows along with pierced ears and a sweet mouth with teeth. These molds were used for the French market, hence the name “Jumeau mold” , Jumeau also used these molds for his dolls.

The body seems to be porcelain and compo, I am not sure it is original to the doll. Clothes are not original. Wig is tightly glued to head, but can be removed if wanted.
