The KA-SMTE is a tenor sized, spalted maple ukulele. The satin finished, spalted maple wood gives each insturment it's own distinct look and may have more or less of a flamed (tiger stripe like) look on the front, back, and sides. The spalted maple wood in, combination with the mahogany neck and rosewood fretboard, offers a very robust, warm tone on the lower strings with pleasantly bright tones on the higher strings. This ukulele includes a built in UK-300T pick up with chromatic tuner for the gigging musician.
