                        DESCRIPTION:

Up for grabs is this rare Belleek third Black Mark creamer jug.

A beautiful creamer made by Belleek. This piece is the Limpet pattern with a beautiful coral handle and was manufactured in Ireland between 1926 and 1946. It is in good condition, with only a tiny nibble to the outer body and most of the yellow lustre is worned off.

Although I selected "cream" in the colour it is really more of an off white.

The black backstamp on this Belleek vase depicts the Irish Wolfhound with head turned to face the Round Tower believed to be modelled on Fermanagh's Devenish Round Tower, together with the Irish Harp and sprigs of shamrock.
