Friedrich Adolf Richter in 1876 founded his company as F. Ad. Richter &
Cie. Fabrication and distribution of chemical-pharmaceutical preparations.
Richter soon expanded his product
range and with the product “Anker Steinbaukästen”,
an invention of the brothers Otto and Gustav Lilienthal, led to the rapid
expansion of the company
The “Anker Steinbaukästen” became
the first system toy in the world.
The Mineral blocks are produced by
pressing a mixture of quartz sand, lime and linseed oil varnish
In 1890 there were 338 GK stone sets
and 78 KK, then were produced over 600
different Anchor Stone Building Sets
