The electrode is a composite electrode composed of a PH glass electrode and a reference electrode. It is a measuring sensor of a pH meter for measuring the H concentration (pH value) in an aqueous solution, and is widely used in various fields in which PH is to be detected. The electrode you purchased is an elaborate precision analytical test sensor. The product has been thoroughly tested before leaving the factory. Maintenance and precautions
1. Remove the electrode protection sleeve before testing. (The solution in the sleeve is 3.3mol/l KCL. If there is crystal leakage, it is normal and does not affect the electrode.)
2. Observe whether the inside of the sensitive bulb is full of liquid. If there is any bubble, the electrode should be gently swayed downward (like a thermometer) to remove the bubbles in the sensitive bulb, otherwise it will affect the test accuracy.
Calibration and testing of electrodes and PH meter
1. Connect the PH electrode to the input of the PH instrument and connect it correctly.
2. According to the instruction manual of the instrument, the calibration will be carried out after calibration results.
Electrode preservation and maintenance
1. Use an electric gap for the electrode. Clean the electrode with distilled water, dry it in a protective bottle, and inject the solution to activate before the next test.
2. If the electrode is not used for a long period of time, it should be rinsed clean and drained of residual distilled water.
3. The sensitive glass bulb at the front end of the electrode should not be in contact with the hard object. Any damage and rubbing will invalidate the electrode.
4. After long-term use of the electrode, the slope and response speed of the electrode may be reduced. The measuring end of the electrode may be immersed in 4% HF for 3-5 seconds or diluted HCL solution for 1-2 minutes, washed with distilled water and then chlorine.
