1988 Press Photo Fire damaged home in Rainbow Farms Subdivision, Safety Harbor
Fires, Florida, Pinellas County, Safety Harbor - A family of four escaped an early morning fire Thursday after smoke detector sounded in their home in the Rainbow Farms Subdivision. Robert McCarty, 40 was in a back bedroom hen he heard the alarm about 5 A.M.. The fire started at the Christmas tree in the living room, where the tree lights had been left on during the night, fire official said. The Safety Harbor home sustained $100,000 in damage.
