This is a Heathkit model # M-4180 FM Deviation Meter. It measures the deviation of an FM Radio Transmitter. It requires a +9V DC battery or external DC Power Supply, which is not included. 

There was a bank of eight - 1.2V NiCad batteries installed, but they were long past their useful life, and caused the plastic battery holder to break. So I have removed the NiCad battery pack completely. It's a standard 8-cell pack that can probably be found here on eBay and other sources, or you can use an external 9V DC power supply. 

It appears to be in very good physical condition, but it is not tested and a manual was not included. A manual is available for free on-line download if you'd like more information.

Shipping charges will be $18.85 to CONUS locations, with careful packing. Local pickup is also available. Shipping charges are based on other electronic items of similar size and weight that I've recently shipped. Local pickup is available, but PayPal cannot be used for payment if you're picking up the item, since PayPal needs proof of shipment to be covered under their rules.

Shipping is ONLY to a PayPal Confirmed Address. It is the responsibility of the BUYER to make sure the address listed on their account is correct.  Please update your account address before buying, as I cannot send items to a different address than the one provided on your account.  

Any International sales must use eBay's International Shipping Program service, where I ship the units to their forwarding center, and eBay takes care of the necessary customs, etc. paperwork, and then they ship onward to the winning bidder. No Direct Overseas Sales! 

Because of the shipping arrangements that are done out-of-state, I am not able to combine shipment of multiple items. I ship items within five days of the end of the sale and receipt of payment. 

Please understand that once I've dropped off an item to be shipped, I have no further control of when it will actually arrive at your location. Occasionally, the shipping company routes the package through some far, out-of-the-way locations which can greatly delay the shipping time, compared to what eBay quotes for delivery times.
