These big, hollow handle survival knives were made by Jacques of Brazil for Garcia in the 60s-70s. They were popular private purchase knives for pilots and others in the service. This is an early one that's missing the Jacques logo. It's in very good, used condition. It's just over 11 7/8" w/the blade just over 6 3/4". It's unsharpened w/an excellent edge and retaining 99% original finish. It's marked as shown. The guard and leather grip are excellent. The pommel unscrews easily, other than the wear/groove that's shown, it's also in good shape. It comes in an original leather sheath. It has the stone/compass and someone also added an m1910 hook to make this wearable on a pistol belt. Very nice vintage survival knife.
