vintage set of two 10 in. 'Tru-Tone' home recording records -- one has the famous 'Day of Infamy' speech, given by Franklin D. Roosevelt before Congress asking them to declare War on Japan [side 2 has Gilbert & Sullivan] -- the second disc has the response leading to the Declaration of War by Congress [both sides recorded] --
-- very cool bit of primary source history taken right off the radio as World War Two was beginning that day of December 8, 1941 --
  -- sadly the FDR disc has serious damage at the beginning of the tracks and is not too well recorded // the congress speech is better but a bit muffled --
