Vintage 1940s Glass Meat Tray from Hotpoint Refrigerator.
This meat tray would have been an accessory to a new Hotpoint refrigerator in the 1940s.
This glass tray has rounded corners and vertical ribbing along the sides. The outside bottom has a pebble finish (the inside bottom is smooth). A small lip is around the top of the tray which projects out about 5/8" at the front (grab handle) with the word 'MEATS' in raised letters on the handle.
The interior dimensions are about 8" x 11 3/4". The exterior dimensions are about 8 11/16" x 12 7/8". The tray is about 2 1/2" tall.
This tray is in excellent condition. No chips, scratches, or cracks.
So many uses! Store deli meats & cheeses in the fridge, marinate meat, vintage trinket holder, serving tray, etc.
