• DIMENSIONS: Approximately 25 inches long when re-strung, largest bead roughly 2cm long
  
• ITEM DETAILS: This superb Vintage Murano black & multicolour 'spatter' glass bead necklace has  uranium glass inclusions that light up like a neon under UV light. I've tried to convey this in the photos but I'm not sure I've fully acheived my objective with my tiny UV torch! The necklace is old, I found it among some random buttons, sewing equipment and other haberdashery accessories in a rusty Edwardian tin that looked as though it hadn't been touched since the war, and nothing else in the tin dated from later than the 1930s with some odds and ends definitely Victorian, so I'm guessing the beads are probably at least 80 years old and possibly older. You will have noticed the necklace needs re-stringing or carefully repairing to re-include the larger bead which has been detached, but aside from this the whole thing is in excellent original condition, everything is just as you see it in the photos and it comes from a smoke free home.
