This radio was bench tested at a professional radio shop. Powers on, scans, Speaker in radio does not work , but there is audio from the external speaker jack . I was listening to the weather broadcast. I was told by the technician that it does transmit. The radio and Mike cord are both a little dirty. Sold As-Is for parts or repair.  I do not know much about it beyond that. Seems like a quality Icom radio.
