This vintage sports publicity photograph dates most likely from the 1950s and features a handsome shot putter in position as another beefy athlete waits his turn with a varsity supporter. The reverse is stamped "Property of the State of Washington, Campus Studios."

This is a nice addition for the collector of male athletes, male physique, college sports or movie publicity photographs from the early part of the 20th Century.

Condition
The 7¼-by-9½-inch photograph is printed on heavy glossy stock and is in fair condition. There is yellowing as seen in the scan. At the bottom of the photo is a half-inch tear. There is various handling wear, mostly to the borders. There are paper remnants on the reverse. The copyright and photographer's stamps on the reverse have been smudged and faded.
