  • Description: An about uncirculated mint state 1937 (1356 AH) Egyptian two piastres silver coin. The coin depicts the uniformed bust of King Farouk the first (the King of Egypt during the period April 1936 through July 1952) facing left with his name and the words King of Egypt surrounding it on the obverse. The coin shows the denomination in Arabic letters and the number 2 as well as the date, and the word "al-Mamlkah al-Masryah" (Kingdom of Egypt) all surrounded by a Lotus Flower decoration along the edge on the reverse. The coin has the reeded rim and is nicely tones especially on the obverse. It is KM-365 and weighs approximately 2.8 grams of 83.3% pure silver. It measures approximately 20 mm in diameter. The coin is graded MS 62 by ANACS and comes in a plastic slab so labeled. Please carefully view scan as it is part and parcel of our description.
