This collectible white metal 29mm medal commemorates the first stone laid on the 15th June 1825 by London mayor John Garratt Esq. and the New London Bridge being opened by 'Their Majesties' King William IV and Queen Adelaide on August 1st 1831.
This is the corrected date type when first stone was laid (15th June 1825).
Obverse: Central inscription in thirteen lines, the top and bottom lines curved.
