- The binding is mostly strong and intact, with only a few detached pages - These include the blank page at the front of the book, and a page of the index at the back of the book - No pages appear to be missing
- The front and back covers are both detached from the binding on the spine - They have also become slightly curved, as the wood inside of them has aged and warped
- Some scratches, scuffs & small discoloration spots on the covers
- A tiny bit of light surface wear to the leather covers from age and handling, mainly around the edges
- A few small margin tears around the bottom edge of the leather covering on the spine
- Some crimps, bends and folds on the pages from handling
- This book appears to never have had metal/leather straps for closure
- Numerous small margin tears on the pages
- Some writing in the middle of the book in black pen - This includes a family history of the bible's original owners, including birth and death dates
- Some large discoloration spots, browning and foxing spots on the pages from age
